Dr. Dennis Hopkins, PsyD, MBA

Executive Director Dr. Dennis P. Hopkins, Psy D, MBA, is well versed in the area of behavioral health, having over thirty (30) years experience in the field. Dr. Hopkins’ credentials include a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Prior to his tenure at IMHC, Dr. Hopkins served as the former Chief of Mental Health Services for the Illinois Department of Corrections until December 2002.

Dr. Hopkins joined the staff at IMHC as a part-time outpatient therapist at IMHC until named Executive Director in January 2005. Dr. Hopkins presented plans for the agency to staff on February 4, 2005. The plan, entitled “The Vision” was later incorporated into IMHC‘s strategic plans covering the fiscal years from 2006 through 2011. Through his visionary leadership, IMHC continues to grow and thrive.

IMHC‘s success has also been communicated to the public by NewsweekShowcase.com which, after the successful reaccreditation by CARF, International in November 2009 for a fourth three year period, interviewed Dr. Hopkins on the topic of resilience.

Kim Fear

Kim has been the Associate Executive Director of Human Resources and the assistant Chief Financial Officer for IMHC since 2008. Her education includes an Associate degree in Applied Science from Kankakee Community College.

When not working, Kim enjoys spending time with her two sons and two dogs. Kim is also an avid member of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Kankakee County, Illinois since 2008.
