Our Team


The mission of IMHC is to help the residents of Iroquois County and surrounding counties in Illinois and Indiana deal effectively with the problems, difficulties, and obstacles that may arise in each person’s life, whether caused by situational, vocational, psychological or substance-induced factors.

Our most prized resource is a multi-disciplinary staff of dedicated personnel. IMHC sets high standards for its staff, whether it be for therapy-related or administrative positions. A priority for IMHC is to recruit directors and staff with cultural diversity who embody our organizational values of:

  • commitment to organizational integrity.

Candidates are chosen based on education, experience and skills they bring to the agency. 

Internship Program

IMHC has cultivated working relationships with several institutes of higher learning, including:

  • Adler Institute
  • Eastern Illinois University
  • Erickson Institute
  • Governors State University
  • Illinois State University
  • Loyola University
  • Olivet Nazarene University
  • University of Chicago
  • University of Illinois

IMHC works with these institutes to provide student interns with hands-on experience in the real world of mental health and substance abuse assessment  and treatment as part of their professional education. In return, IMHC is provided with the opportunity to identify potential future staff.
