ALLISON LINDSTROM, BA, MHP | Individualized Placement Services (IPS) Supervisor, Employment Specialist
Allison Lindstrom is our Director of Vocational Services and oversees the Individualized Placement Services (IPS) program and the Vocational Rehabilitation program at IMHC. Allison assists clients with finding and maintaining competitive employment within the community and provides assistance with resumes, cover letters, application completion, and interviewing skills. She is skilled at building employer relationships throughout the community in order to learn about the needs of the business and their hiring practices.
Allison received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University and is currently working towards her masters in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. As an undergraduate, she volunteered for Our Chinese Daughters Foundation, working in orphanages throughout the surrounding provinces of Beijing, China. Currently, she volunteers as a crisis interventionist on the 24 hour hotline at Kankakee County’s Center Against Sexual Assault (KC-CASA).
Allison loves animals and is the proud owner of a very spoiled Yorkshire Terrier named Kkuma. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
