Alberta Burton is an outpatient therapist at the Iroquois Mental Health Center with responsibility for treating mental health symptoms such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, symptoms of bipolar disorder, parenting issues, relational therapy for couples, grief issues, and other issues that cause problems in peoples' lives.
Alberta also serves as Director of Operations, an administrative position overseeing the general operations of the Iroquois Mental Health Center.
Prior to joining IMHC, Alberta worked for the State of Illinois as Local Office Administrator for the Iroquois County Public Aid Office in Watseka.
Alberta has more than 20 years experience as an outpatient therapist at the Iroquois Mental Health Center in Watseka, Illinois. Alberta is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, licensed by the State of Illinois since March 31, 1997. She is also a certified DUI evaluator and is certified by the State of Illinois.
